"Progressive Slovakia supports the position of the European Parliament, which rejects aspects of this proposal that are referred to as “chat control.” The EP position is the basis for negotiations with the Council, i.e. the governments of the member states, on the final compromise."

And that is where the problem lies: according to the preliminary position of the Ministry of Labor, the government supported this proposal in the Council in July of this year, including the parts known as “chat control”. Even though some representatives of the Slovak government are already criticizing it today, it is not clear how the Council will vote for this proposal."
