dabigc@ismh86 I was annoyed that *as soon* as I switched off WiFi, dropping to cellular, the “page” updated and I could place my order. 4 minutes after opening ate 6 days. *sigh* First world problems.
@dabigc I tried it but then remember I barely have cell service at home.
@ismh86 I've got it, Marty! Next year you drop to cellular before clicking the preorder link and entering the waiting room, then switch to WiFi when Tim raises the gate. 🙈
Rick Baumhauer@ismh86 @dabigc Everybody check your actual order status on the store - my order email says 9/25, but when I check order status, it says arriving 9/19. I only thought to check because I wanted to see what current delays looked like, so went through the order process fresh (without finalizing), and it said it would deliver on 9/19.
@rick_baumhauer @ismh86 Yep. *Just* got a notification from the Apple Store app that delivery had changed to 9/19. 🎉
I got a message and email updating the delivery date a couple hours after I checked manually. Interesting little hiccup in the system - I hadn’t seen a release day sellout that fast in a while.
