I released my third TNR (trap-neuter-return) cat into my apartment complex this morning. I'll be releasing the fourth, a spay-abort, tomorrow. She's been recovering in my apartment, eating as much as she wants. This is not fun work--it's stressful, time consuming, and expensive--but it's also really important.
This is the sweet girl who's been chilling with me for a few days.
These are feral cats so they can't just be adopted, but they have a small colony and people leave food for them. The goal is to make sure no more kittens are born into this life, and the adults are also vaccinated when they're neutered, so they stay healthier.
