As we head into iPhone-event week, let's celebrate the hard work by all of the people who made these products happen.

And let's not forget the shameless Trump-suckass CEO at the top, who constantly gives the middle finger to everyone in his own company, and the very foundations of our country, that this administration is actively committing violence and waging war against.

Celebrating great new Apple products used to be an unequivocal joy for me.

Fuck Tim Cook for taking that away.

@marcoarment I get mad every time I remember his Twitter bio quoting Martin Luther King: “Life's most persistent and urgent question is, 'What are you doing for others?'”

The only thing I wish from a reporter interviewing Tim Cook is for them to confront him with that question and not let him get away with a bullshit evasive answer. What *is* he doing for others? I want him to reflect on and answer that.

@vitor what he is doing in his role as CEO is exactly what the board and shareholders want him to be doing because maximizing profit is their only goal. The MLK quote could be attributed to his personal life, and in that sense it is nobody’s business but his own what he does for others.
@victor @vitor he can resign if he can’t be himself

@Bvirlet of course he can but until he does so his fiduciary responsibility to Apple is all that matters. Cook obviously accepted the trade offs when he took the job or he would have declined the offer. Having a role as CEO isn’t for everyone for this very reason.
