There is a jab available for RSV but It's only offered on the NHS if you're pregnant or aged 75 to 79, or turned 80 after 1 September 2024.
Privately, one jab costs £300 for any age .
RSV is no picnic! I spent a month fully concentrated on controlling my breathing, unable to walk 50 paces. I have come out of it with an irregular heart beat, taste anomalies, scarring on my lungs & Asthma. I have an inhaler for any future bouts with RSV.
