I am honored to serve as a Coordinating Lead Author, together with Evelina Trutnevyte and Hala Abou-Ali, for the IPCC’s Seventh Assessment Report, for WGIII on Mitigation, Chapter 3 "Projected futures in the context of sustainable development and climate change". Attached a screenshot with the topics we will cover in our chapter.
Among the new topics or emphasis, I particularly note the prominence of equity and justice topics, and the consideration of climate change impacts on mitigation strategies.
