This morning I was dreaming about how to update the documentation for the various Markdown processors that Marked 3 implements. In addition to just documentation, I dreamt about a “dingus” that would let users enter/paste syntax live and see exactly how each processor would render it.

Syntax highlighted Markdown and HTML source, and a preview that scrolls to edit point. (1/2)

You might be asking yourself, “didn’t he just build an editor, after he’s years of saying ‘that’s not what Marked is for’?”. To which I say “if I were going to make an editor, it would be way better than this little proof of concept, and this little proof of concept isn’t going to be developed much further. But it’s still cool.” (2/2)
