Newsmax sues Fox News, saying it illegally controls right-wing TV market : NPR - Divisions by zero

Lemmy

I wish them both a long, costly, and messy litigation fight.
I’d prefer short, costly, and devastating.

A short, costly, and devastating litigation generally means one side won desively. The matter was dismissed without going anywhere.

I want motions being filed every step,a long discovery, pointless court appearance, and more. I want these fuckers to spend money and time in litigation where no one really won due the amount resources spent. I want the only people making any money is the lawyers. I want expensive lawyers who charge ridicolous sums for their services. I want Johnny Depp and Amber Heard level of aminosity.

I want them to drag Robert Murdoch’s undead corpse onto the stand. I want them go into the depths of hell to get Newsmax CEO Christopher Ruddy to give a deposition.

I want this to be humilating and very public. This a major issue in the right wing propaganda machine.

During all this, I want to sit and eat a bag of buttery popcorn. That is what a long, messy, costly litigation means.

Hopefulky this tirwnsnoit to be as long as the SCO v IBM lawsuit :)

That Linux lawsuit: 20 years later, SCO vs IBM may finally be ending

The SCO vs. IBM lawsuit that was once seen as an existential threat to Linux became a bad legal joke. Now the suit may finally be put to rest. Well, some of it anyway.

ZDNET
I want it to drag on long enough that it splits the far right into two factions and they start reporting things to slander the “other side”
