In response to the dismantling of the CDC, California, Oregon, and Washington have launched the West Coast Health Alliance, which will make their own science-based vaccine guidelines, and make sure vaccines are accessible to everyone.
Penny Richards@luckytran I fervently hope this works so well that it expands to other basic public health provisions; a multi-state bloc like this might be able to make good contraception and prenatal care free and easy to obtain region-wide, for example.
