If you use my image description toolkit, I've added the first version of a file viewer to show you the images from a description run along with options to copy the image, the description or the image path. This is a start for being able to manage descriptions with images. If you are not familiar with this toolkit, it uses local AI models to generate descriptions for images and allows you to choose from and configure a range of models and prompts. I added another handy function to this image viewer. You can now ask for any image from a previous run of the tool to be redescribed and pick the local model prompt or even edit the prompt. Set up and first use here requires to do some reading and hopefully I’ll be able to make all of this easier to get running, but it’s really not that complicated and worth the short investment in time if you want to explore more image description technology.
