Something historic is happening—and no surprise—corporate media is ignoring it.

Right now, boats representing activists from 44 different countries are setting sail toward Gaza as part of the Global Sumud Flotilla—the largest civilian maritime mission ever launched to break Israel’s illegal blockade. It is a global, nonviolent response to the genocide of the Palestinian people.

Let's Address This with Qasim Rashid
@QasimRashid Reuters, AP, and CBS have stories out already. Hopefully more outlets will be covering it tomorrow.
@QasimRashid
I feel this effort needs an Israeli big wig who's in opposition to the "war". This could put more pressure on Netanyahu to avoid an "accidental" military action against the mission and the Palestinians in Gaza they are their to help.
@QasimRashid No it has been in the media. It will be interesting if Israel allows the flotilla to land.

@Oldmikie

I love how every assertion I've seen that "the media isn't covering this" turns out to be wrong.

@QasimRashid

@QasimRashid they want to save the hostages, right? Right?
@QasimRashid They have evidently returned to Barcelona because of weather.
