Steve CarterWell I never... a rainbow appeared before sunrise, created just by the light of an orange and red glow in the east. There's a first time for everything. I've certainly never see such a thing before.
Nantucket Lit@GetCarter That's a very rare sight. I've only seen a rainbow in the morning once; I still kick myself for not getting a photo.
CoastalCoastingI didn't get a photo either. Talked with a friend, she saw it too, she didn't take a picture either.. we were so flustered.
It's SO intriguing to look at, time stops and it was gone too soon right? We had to scour around the net with hashtags hoping someone else had the presence of mind like Carter had! Found someone who took the picture, they're credited in the link. Grateful someone caught it and did it justice. Only took a half a century +, and it was worth the wait!
