This is Dr. Marvin Dunn, a Florida professor of Black history whose valiant work at #AlligatorAuschwitz helped lead to its closing. He stood around in south Florida heat in the swamp at the age of 85 and faced violent white supremacists in #ICE. This man is truly brave.

Sadly I am not a good enough person to offer ICE a flower. If I offer them anything, it will be a bag of tiny dicks. But I do 100% agree that we have to be nonviolent, or at least seen not to *start* the violence. I will not criticize self defense by people being kidnapped, and I'm sure he doesn't either.

From being out at protests all the time, and from seeing what other people are doing in the resistance, I cannot believe how much progress we have made in a few short months, with no national leadership and with everything against us in legacy and social media.
I am getting to experience first hand why nonviolent resistance is more likely to succeed than the violence we all feel tempted to, with good reason, when we see the atrocities.
Just look what Dr. Dunn and his comrades achieved.
