eBay has started nagging me to use AI-generated replies to messages. Even as someone who finds writing awkward and time-consuming, I would still rather chew my arms off and bash out replies with my forehead than let a mindless text-generator speak for me. One of the *good* things about eBay is that you can message a buyer or seller and get a response from an actual person, so apparently this must be discouraged at all costs. And of course you can only choose "maybe later" instead of "fuck no"
