retoot this if your retirement plan is essentially based on the idea that civilisation will probably crumble before you reach 65 and money will be meaningless anyway.
@cmconseils I've always been an extremely frugal person and saved as much as possible, I'm on track to have the ability to retire relatively close to the age of 40
@Roofastronaut @cmconseils what number you shooting for, if you don’t mind saying? I’m thinking $1.25M for a 60’s retirement in the Midwest for me. That’s should be about $50k a year until my mid to late 80’s. That should be well beyond what this body will need cared for. With the uncertainty of two more decades I wouldn’t even know what to plan for.
