I'm very happy with the next cloud provider solutions. Check out hosting.de for example. They have free plans to start with. The only thing I'm missing is the RSS feeder as it requires an active job and they don't provide it. Files, photos, notes are working great.

I have, that's what's not working. I've set it up to run with Tailscale, and when I go to my tailnet address, it says there's nothing there. So I can't access it.

I have Nextcloud AIO setup on my internal network and have a different machine on my lan sharing the subnet through Tailscale. My external DNS resolves to the internal address so I access through Tailscale when not at home or directly when I am. Every couple months I do have to change the setup to renew my https certificate but otherwise this configuration has worked for me.
