Any #FilmPhotography #BelieveInFilm folk know what version of Kodak Gold has edge markings GB 200-7? Might be useful in scanning. Even better if you know which Vuescan Pro setting gets the best results! I'm getting muddy colours right now!
@carusb That's the current version of Gold, I think. I usually just set VueScan to "Generic Colour" for most films.
@simon_diamond The results were so rubbish I assumed it must have been long expired. It was in the mju II, which is clearly playing up as the frame spacing is bonkers! (Also no box tab) I did make some Raw-DNG files, so I'll use them to experiment with inversion apps. I don't have LR so NLP is not available. I'll try @darktable #Negadoctor first, though last time I couldn't make it work!
@carusb That's strange. Sounds like the film could be damaged in some way? Unless it's just the camera exposing wrong?
@simon_diamond Looking through them again, they do look better than they did when scanning, but still pretty rubbish. Not yet loaded to C1Pro, maybe I can find an "auto-fix" button that'll magically improve the colour!
