There's a good new demoscene doc available on YouTube called "Hands deep – a journey into the demoscene". It follows the story of a new demogroup making and presenting their first demo, but also covers the history of the scene through the eyes of more established sceners.
It's quite a fresh take on trying to document the scene and make it more accessible. It was produced by a group of Finnish public museums so it's not surprising that it's appeals to "outsiders", whereas most scene documentaries so far are much more aimed at "insiders".
It's only 25 mins long, in Finnish with English subs and is definitely worth watching.
