It reminds me of when we ordered a #Hoegaarden in a pub in Sweden and it didn't taste anything like a Hoegaarden (it didn't even taste good). When we asked the bartender, she was very honest and said that just because something is called Hoegaarden, that doesn't mean it's actually Hoegaarden.
I guess importing is more inconvenient than brewing locally (even if it's not going to be the same beer) 🤷
