@rodet Chrome had a version, but it was recently removed and I don't recall it ever being as useful. Now that it's gone, Edge is the only game in town for understanding where and how much layers cost, which matters a *ton* at the low end.
@slightlyoff @rodet I still have the layers tab in my chrome devtools. What apart from the 3d view is different in edge?
@kurtextrem @rodet Oh! I thought it was gone! My bad.
@kurtextrem @slightlyoff @rodet For anyone else wondering, I also thought it wasn't available but it turns out you have to open it with the devtools command panel -> Show Layers. 3D view also still available
@kurtextrem @slightlyoff @rodet but Edge does seem to have added extra features - showing the rendered content is a nice addition
@lamplightdev @kurtextrem @rodet there was talk of removing it in Chrome, so I got ahead of myself. Apologies!
@lamplightdev @slightlyoff @rodet Ah yeah, but compared to Edge's 3d view (especially z-index) chrome's doesn't really feel 3d
