Tot 2 was released a little while ago into the App Store but unfortunately there’s a bug that preventing prior iOS purchases from being restored. 🙁

We’ll be debugging and submitting a fix to the store ASAP but it’s going to take some time. You might want to hold off updating if you are a prior paid user for the time being.

Apologies, please hang in there. Thanks! #TotRocks

Tot 2.0.1 corrects the previous purchase restore bug and is now available in the App Store. Appreciate your patience while we submitted this fix. #TotRocks
@Iconfactory
I charged again with the previous version as a support🫡
@nobtaka Well we appreciate that so much, thank you!

@Iconfactory Congratulations on shipping!

Looking forward to updating soon.

@jeff Thanks! Fingers crossed all goes well tomorrow. 🤞

@Iconfactory loving the new app icons

didn’t realize i purchasd it back in 2020

@Iconfactory Working perfectly as expected 👍 thank you
@Iconfactory Ah! Was just going to ask. Thanks!
@Iconfactory I don’t know if this helps at all but I noticed that it says that I purchased Tot in 2013 according to the page inside of tot but I believe that the year is actually more like 2023. Seems like it thinks I bought it 10 years prior
@joshdm We think we found the bug and just submitted a fix to the store. Fingers crossed for a quick review. 🤞

@joshdm @Iconfactory

Using Tot before it was cool!

@Iconfactory
Oups! I just rebought the iOS version... thought it was mandatory.
@Iconfactory I saw the update and jumped to test it right away. I thought it was a paid update and ended up purchasing again on iOS and macOS. What can I do?
@oldbreton Request a refund from Apple, they should honor it. Though be aware the macOS purchase is separate so that was most likely correct.
@Iconfactory the macOS version was free before?
@oldbreton yes. Still free but with premium features now.
@Iconfactory great! Then I'll just ask a refund for iOS and keep my purchase for macOS. Love this app!
@Iconfactory I bought it again. Won’t request a refund. You guys deserve it.
@Freeformtext Well we appreciate that but you can try and request a refund from Apple if needs be. Appreciate your support.
@Iconfactory ah shoot. I definitely purchased Tot 2 thinking I had to.
@jkrahn You should be able to request a refund from Apple. Hopefully they’ll honor it. 🤞
@Iconfactory the Mac app did really shift to paid though, yes? (Happy purchaser of that if so!)
@jkrahn Yes, it sure did. Appreciate the support!
@Iconfactory Loved V1. But in V2 I changed the icon to "Smart" (the one you can tear it off and the Dock icon shows up) and if you command-w the window, it's not possible to launch or use Tot again. I got out of state briefly and trivially reproduced, and now I'm in a state where it just crashes immediately on launch :-(
@wklj What version of macOS are you running? Tahoe beta?
@Iconfactory Oof u had that detail in my previous post but deleted it from the edit when I added repro steps. Sorry!
@wklj we’ve not really tracked bugs with the new beta yet so you could submit a ticket for it, but until 26 is out and finalized, we’re not concentrating on them.
@Iconfactory Fair enough. I’d looked for a place on the Tot page to do that but only found FAQ for that. I’d gladly include steps and more detail, if I can find the place to report it!
@wklj can open a ticket here. Please include any steps to reproduce. A screen recording would help too probably but don’t *need*c thanks! https://iconfactory.happyfox.com/new/
@Iconfactory it didn’t make me pay again… I wanted to!!
@scottwillsey We appreciate that! The Mac premium features are a paid iAP so there’s always that way to support us. Thanks!
@Iconfactory This app needs a tip jar!

@Iconfactory I love Tot, so re-purchasing it is the least I can do for y'all.

@Iconfactory

Request:

- It would be cool to use backticks (`) to create a code/text block in a Rich Text dot. I like how smooth Rich Text looks, but sometimes I need monospaced text in it.

@Iconfactory did you remove the watchOS-Version? It doesn’t seem to be available
@OmniJan Nope, it’s there and has been updated to 2.0. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/tot-mini/id1644609331

@Iconfactory I’d assumed it was a paid update. More than happy to have bought it again.
@cybergoths Appreciate your support, thank you!
