Following an old post I am interested in removing physical transport of gadgets while paying the author and supplying trust.
E.G, I'm interested in a tee from an artist. But their store is in US and I have to pay transport, cause environment impact and maybe get a subpar product.
I could produce in loco using materials I and measure I see for less money and impact.
But how? I'm interested in contacting the author but I want a good pitch for this.
The first idea is to just ask, expecting a good feedback by the author. This can clash with artist time and interest in the idea. Unfortunately individiuals don't have trust, contracts don't seem appealing.
I could reach for a local company, this can help with trust but would add a middle man in the picture.
DRM-like stuff mess with my control first setup (and all is easily circumventable).
The most probable solution in this list is the middle man.
