Yeah, their pricing on the belted folders are what made me go with a Priority Folder instead.
How do you like it?
I like it pretty well, the gates drive and Nexus 8 hub are super low maintenance. While it doesn't fold as small as a trifold, it still folds small enough for my purposes. If you're looking for a folding bike and don't need it to fold down as tiny as a Brompton, I'd recommend checking them out (especially if you are looking for a belt driven bike).
If you want something similar but with a chain, I'd recommend looking into Dahon, Zizzo, and Tern: They all make decent folders.
I’ve got a Tern Link D8 already, and it’s pretty great. I don’t actually need it to be folding, but the folding feature has come in handy quite a few times. I can’t complain about the build quality, and since I wax my chains, it is fairly low maintenance as it is. But yeah, gates plus a nexus hub are on another level.
Half of that is just paying for the name
