I’ve heard about the texting minors stuff, but haven’t seen any proof. I have only seen his stuff in the last year or so watching political debates/streams and he definitely doesn’t defend genocide, so I question the other criticisms as well.

I was gonna say, I dont think thats right. I haven’t watched any long format content from him besides his recent interview with Hasan Minhaj. Everything else ive seen is short clips because I dont really like the format of streamers just reacting/reading/responding to chat for like 3 hours.
I know there are people that got mad at him for voicing that America has some responsibility for 9/11, but I think there are always gonna be people that dont want to understand a nuanced take.

I’ve never watched the dude, and prior to today, don’t know that I had heard the name. But how do his crimes change the fact that his research is thorough? All the person above you said is that he researches well, not sure how that would be a controversial opinion to have of someone.
