NMIXX are very hit or miss for me, but KNOW ABOUT ME is fine. It's fine. It's just fine. That's fine. It's aggressively fine.
I'm not drawn to that mellow R'n'B style, I'll admit. I prefer when it picks up towards the end, but for a song that's not even 3min long (😒) it's really not a great bang for my buck.
The video is pretty nice however (although it's the second video this month set in a terminal, after GENBLUE's ACT LIKE THAT).
@lyingrain : if you haven't had the chance, maybe give a try to Slingshot... it scratched my brain in the right spot.
Today in rainbow news : NMIXX collabs with Brazilian drag queen Pabllo Vittar.
For a pretty cool song, might I add.
As far as I know, this makes them the first Kpop group to collaborate with a drag queen. It's a pretty big deal in my book.
Also of note : they ACTUALLY met and recorded/shot things together. These collaborations usually take place at a distance (think Blackpink and Selena Gomez), but in this case they met in the studio :

O.O was so many songs at once, I'm not surprised some of it was left on the cutting room's floor. I'm just surprised we're getting these weird leftovers.
It's probably more meaningful for hardcore fans who fell in love with their debut song (all three of them).
Today in rainbow news... FOR THE SECOND TIME !!!
It is so rare for Kpop artists to collab more than once with another artist. So this feels particularly meaningful.
And on top of that, this song made NMIXX the first Kpop act at a Brazilian carnival block party (I'm unclear on the exact nomenclature, but basically it seems to be a Pabllo event next to the carnival, and not the main carnival ?).
It's finally here ! The MV we've been waiting for.
