Ok that #fork diagram is looking a lot better than the last one. Fixed a lot of bugs in the data processing and I am starting to see some useful #information in the diagram. #qemu #kvmforum2025
@stsquad Wow, that's indeed very useful information. I stumble upon the vendor forks (STM, NXP) from time to time and always wonder how they fit in and if they will ever be merged back into upstream. This diagram makes this much easier to understand.
@dzu if you have any major forks that github doesn't show as forked from the upstream let me know. I have to add them manually (c.f. android emulator and the recent iPhone repos).

@stsquad the secret to openbmc's fork is it's mostly just Cedric's (Aspeed maintainer's) upstream tree backported onto stable tags 😅
@stsquad that said, I think we've done pretty well motivating people to submit upstream
