@bluejay It might be a sycamore, but it's hard to tell without seeing leaves or flowers. There are maples that do that, the ones I've seen are redder than that. It's not eucalyptus or madrone...

@sunumbral I looked at sycamore images, and I’ve seen those around the neighborhood too. I think this is more likely birch, as others suggested. Thanks!🙏🏽
