Pocket organizer and keys
I love pocket organizers. You’d think its just adding another item to your pocket and it is. But for me i carry one with mini crescent wrench, telescoping magnet, emergency meds, chapstick, a sharpie, 2 regular pens, a pocket comb, I forget anything else off hand.
Vs the other pocket is not big enough for an organizer and it erks my nerve. Anything I need slides in and out and is organized quickly. My other pocket I have to dig for leatherman micra scissors, Bose earbuds, milmaukee flashlight, leatherman wave plus, Milwaukee 6ft mini tape measure, and a 16gb flash drive for odds and ends because you never know. Then you got a wallet with the usuals. Cell phone. Glock 26.
Nice setup. I really like the custom pouch. that's the kind of thing I like to make.
Is that elastic webbing stitched as a bit storage?
I had high hopes for the SOG Powerpint. The bitholder is genius, as is it's compound leverage for the pliers, like other SOG multitools. And then the can opener snapped off while trying to open a can. Maybe I did it wrong, but I've used SAK can openers (new and old style), p-38s, p-51s, pocketknives and even chefs knives to open cans without any trouble. But that Powerpint opener was defeated by a can of tuna. it seems not sharp enough and beveled the wrong way for its placement in the knife. when the can started bending in I stopped and gave it a bit better edge. But it puts the cutting edge a bit away from the rim, and that lets the lid stretch. If you flip it and try going the other way round then the handle gets in the way so you can't pivot it properly.
After it broke I used the main knife blade and got the can open in 1/10th the time I spent fiddling with the opener. But this ended the Powerpint's use as my one blade while traveling. Now I prefer a SAK (better scissors too) and Knipex pliers.
