Anybody here heard of 'FlexOS'? Apparently it's 'free and lightweight'... https://www.education.govt.nz/bulletins/digital-download/30-07-25 It's what the Min of Ed is recommending for school devices that can't be upgraded to Windows 11 when 10 ceases to be supported... I haven't heard of it. Wikipedia lists a FlexOS that was discontinued in 1998: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FlexOS Otherwise, schools are to encourage whānau to 'update devices or buy new ones'. This (& the MS & Google licensing BS) makes my blood boil.
