daily there were up to ~ 2,5 million people on the streets all over Israel today.
Imagine. Around 25% of the entire Israeli population on the streets against their gov. In Gaza every single protest leader against the Hamas terror regime was shot dead immediately during the past few months.
This is more or less the only major difference of 2 clerical-fascist regimes holding their mutual populations hostage.

On which information do you rely on for this claim (Hamas shoots protesters)?

The difference is more: Until now Israel gvmt can go on with their genocidal war even if people protest.
Palestinians see Hamas critical (in Gaza, too) but they know that without armed forces they would be pushed from their homeland immediatly.
