Currently rewatching #MyStepmomsDaughterIsMyEx

It's definitely prone to questionable tropes and fanservice, but also quite good when it focuses on the characters and their complex interrelationships.

Actually, when #MyStepmomsDaughterIsMyEx focuses down it can be VERY good.

And surprisingly honest, and compassionate. With main characters who are actually honest and communicative about their feelings.

The show definitely has its problems, and it’s not a show I can give an unqualified recommendation to, but there’s actually a lot to like here.

That said... de Nile is not just a river in Egypt Yume... (Mizuto is not much better at this point, although both are starting to FINALLY process the complicated feelings from the earlier breakup) #MyStepmomsDaughterIsMyEx
