Kerosene and helium have been loaded - started around 10 pm EDT.
Liquid oxygen load is underway.

It's expected the rocket will be off the rail in 3 seconds, 5:1 thrust ratio
The rocket contains approx 450kg Liquid Oxygen and Kerosene at launch and is 12 feet tall.

The fuel is Jet-A gasoline, oxidizer is Liquid Oxygen. Not RP1. My mistake!

This is still huge! A vehicle completely Canadian, including the engine, making a space shot, this hasn't been done in 25 years. Congratulations to Concordia for an incredible launch.

@jlin they all should be SO proud. This is a massive achievement. It would have been easier to use solid fuel, nah, they went all out and designed a liquid fuel vehicle.

@jlin no way! I'm just dipping my toes into rocketry with a couple of others from Edmonton and we were excited to see that the Canadian Association of Rocketry is based in Edmonton! 🚀
@chad awesome! lots of stuff happening in this sector all over the country!! I found out that there's a good amount of satellite operation folks at the amateur groundstation based in Winnipeg with the radio club there! It's the whole chain. get launch tech ready, and there's people all over Canada who can build the satellites and run ops/payload/comms for the uplink/downlinks once we get up there!
