@malarkey finally got round to watching first two.
Loving it. The crash location being just down the road from that girls brother was a bit on the nose 😅. But I'll forgive as the rest has been bloody good fun.
Eric Peacock@peach @malarkey Alien: Earth is a prequel to the original film so one could watch it w/o having seen anything else in the franchise.
However, so far there's a ton of homages and details coming from the original film that I think boost the enjoyment; I'd think having seen Alien and even Aliens would be fine.
The Prometheus/Covenant prequels aren't referenced according to writer Noah Hawley, though those are integrated into the recent Alien: Romulus movie.
