@osnews Just wanted to reply to expand upon what i said: Ads have always annoyed me to death ever since i started getting absurd looking ads like an ugly nosed cartoony dude, which led me to install an adblock. I loved using it since my whole life since the 2010s, and it was a mere habit.

Now in a future which capitalism had completely become aware of adblocks, they're generating a unprecedented Streisand effect that has caused nothing but to raise a horrific truth about ad systems.

@osnews Really, fuck Google, Amazon, Meta and all those companies who have decided to rapidly enforce their ad system for profit income for themselves in a bothersome way!!

If they won't listen to us, then may as well let us throw the ad system off to the dumpster fire and move on to donations. Ads have always sucked in the first place. I've lived to it every day when i used to watch television as a child before i found out tv here in Italy has become nothing but a dumpster.

@osnews Then, just as you saw, streaming services and smart TVs become more expensive and start getting ads in them as well, just like good ol' tv.

For the most of my life, i never ought to click them, and will still avoid all the time to fall for them.
