This isn't going to stop with Washington, D.C. or Chicago. Also, taking >100 FBI agents off of whatever they are doing and assigning them as temporary beat cops in DC has to be the dumbest, most wasteful and demoralizing use of federal law enforcement I've seen in a while. The one thing you can be sure about is that the stated reason for these actions -- cracking down on crime -- is not in fact the goal. You know it's not, because that's what they said was the reason.
@briankrebs somethihng, something, seen this episode before. something, something, streets of Berlin.

@briankrebs in all seriousness though he's laid the ground work to ship people off to camps now. Remember he's also allowed authorities to begin detaining people with "mental illness" without cause. i.e. it's up to the "discretion" of the person of authority what they deem as "mental illness" which as we all know could cover a very LARGE range or more than likely not even apply. What's to stop a cop from labeling someone that is LGBTQ as mentally ill? and now he wants to remove the homeless...ok so what's to stop a cop/FBI agent from detaining someone who isn't homeless but simply low income? what about people who are couch surfing? the hidden homeless?

If a Democrat is giving a 24+ hour filibuster are they now considered homeless because they've been in a government building for over 24 hours?

@briankrebs @rozodru It really is shocking how more folks aren't talking about this. :/
