@wlaatje how does this site work? At the end it opened Thunderbird but nothing happened. I guess it was supposed to write an e-mail and add all the representatives as recipients? Won't that get filtered out as spam or something?

@compfu
Correct, in my case it did work as you described with:
- email adress(es) in the to-field
- Subject “Opposition to Chat Control Proposal - Protect Digital Privacy and Rights”
- Body: the template text that was shown in the preview.

Depending on fuzzy parameters like mailfilterscores, ISP, IP-range, amount of recipients, possible earlier spam and content it could end up in a spam folder… advice could be to split it up in more mails if the amount of recipients is very high.

@wlaatje Thank you! Must have been something to do with starting Thunderbird on MacOS. Once Thunderbird was open, the e-mail button worked for me.

@compfu no problem! Thank you should go out to @chatcontrol!

Good for them to know this behavior for Thunderbird on MacOS.

@wlaatje @compfu Thank you for flagging the issues with Thunderbird on MacOS. Will investigate and rectify.
