I used #Muvmi to go to the fresh market near my condo for the first time. The fare was 30 baht per trip, similar to the motorbike taxi, while providing a lot of room for my food and groceries just like an actual car taxi.
If I used an actual car taxi, that would be around 80 baht per trip. Double that for the round-trip and yes, it'd be crazy expensive.
that fresh market is about 1.4 kilometers from the condominium complex I live in. Thanks @mishari for recommending this alternative! It also saved me a lot of headache finding parking lots. (in case if I drive there)
