So Jeff bought himself an eeb, a Levo SL, less power, less battery, less weight. I took my commuter eeb, and off we went. #SomewhatMTB #EveningRide #eBike

We left after 7pm, when the temperature had gone down a little from the 32C it had been. The light was beautiful on our way up the Blauen!

Jeff's bike came with a tiny multi tool in the steerer tube. We needed that later.

In comparison, I was a little under-biked.
On the first part of the way down, we went different ways, because one of my spokes in the rear has popped, and I didn't want to risk overly rough trails. We met up at Dreiländerstein.

From there onwards, we had to go a slightly rough path, and after that, I just followed Jeff down our normal MTB descent. That was _so_ rough, bloody hell!
I even did that short, super steep segment at the end, but used Jeff's little multi tool to put my saddle down first. And it was mostly OK.
"It's never the bike", they say.

Jeff's SL bike means that on the way up, I no longer have to chase him like a maniac, that is good.

Overall a great ride!
