I miss on-prem. The smell of cold server rooms, blinking lights, swapping RAM, fixing storage… a beautiful era. After a year in the cloud, even Linux bash feels distant. Now AI simplifies everything — sometimes I wonder why I still write complex code instead of letting it draft it for me. Faster, cleaner… but the future feels less exciting.
