@abuelaskpop for those who don't know, it's not really banned....there's just a list of super catchy songs that are unofficially "banned" for students to listen to while studying for the CSATs...

They are actually banned from TV/radio play during that time, though with the rise of streaming services, the list is more of a guideline than a serious ban these days.
@abuelaskpop yup, but even then, it was just a temporary don't play rather than the sorts of bans we see when songs have "inappropriate" lyrics or what not
