wevdap@gecole Or, if you're particularly lucky, one of the Virginia Rails or the Sora that's been heard around the observation platform lately.
@wevdap Rails are birds I hear but very seldom see, and not sure I've ever seen a Sora. We were not there early and my bet is most birds were hunkering down midday.
@gecole I've seen several Virginia Rails while birding at GM, like this one from last summer, but only a quick glance (though with loud call) around 9 AM today. No Sora for me yet, though.
