If I know a company that's violating an open source license (GPL, for example, or even BSD, where you just have to mention the library), who/where should I report to?

@antranigv

First, don't overreact.

If you want to be treated seriously, you should be the author (contributor) to the project which code has been used contrary to the license agreement.

Here is a pretty good guidance and there you can report a GPL violation:

@saper Thank you, this is very useful. I'll keep track of this company and see if they end up releasing the Software License acknowledgement or not (I know for a fact that they are using multiple BSDL software), and decide what to do.

They are not a large vendor, but they are making money and doing their best to “hide" (obfuscate) the work of others.

@antranigv depends on the BSD version, they do not need to publish acknowledgement at all
