This sounds great. Rail is the future and it seems that your administration actually gets it!

Really hoping the midwest can be revitalized with rail to show the success and push momentum towards HSR. The big dream being Chicago to NYC in 5 hours like Shanghai to Beijing, which would give the midwest such a huge spark.

Increasing service on the Cardinal Route would be a great help for me. My little town in Kentucky is currently one of the stops. I would love to be able to make short day trips to Indianapolis or Alexandria by train.

Also, Toledo to Cincinnati would be great. My youngest son is a students at BGSU. He doesn't drive, so it would save me hours of driving if I could just put him on a train. Frankly, I think he would like taking the train.
