Vale Nagle 🏳️⚧️Since it's #GryphonAppreciationDay, if you're looking for gryphon books to read, may I recommend the Gryphon Reading List? It has ~450 different recommendations for books with gryphons in them and tries to get which have gryphon PoV characters, sapient gryphons, etc.
Rosy@kvalenagle wow, I'm glad you included Meredith Ann Pierce's Firebringer Trilogy! I love those books! But hardly anyone has heard of them...
@lalah The paperback covers for that series went pretty hard! And a lot of people recommended them to me, so I think the series has at least a few fans =)
(The list began because I set a challenge to read 100 gryphon books in a single year, and a lot of people offered up suggestions, so I put them in a list. Over the years since then, I've updated it as I learn about more gryphon books. Honestly, there were so many books I didn't get to in the initial challenge — plus some like Firebringer where I only got to read the first — that I've been tempted to do a new challenge.)
@kvalenagle I'd definitely recommend reading the whole trilogy! The gryphons get more developed as the story goes on. There's actually a unicorn/gryphon romance between minor characters in book 3.
