I'm on eps 7 in my rewatch and it is truly a MASTERPIECE!!
@whoosh @EllenInEdmonton @jcurries Aahh, I started this one when it was airing (2 eps out) but forgot about it. Not very good "reviews" at the time but I guess the haters were out in force.

"When the Stars Gossip" has an awful 6.6 rating on MyDramaList. I think there are 4 reasons for that.
1) people thought it was making an anti-choice political statement. I didn't think that & on this rewatch I'm taking notes about why. I'll have to do a spoiler post about that.
2) I can't say this one without a spoiler, but again, I think people misinterpreted what happened in the relationship.
3) The pythonesque humor. Not typical for k-content. Finding the phallic & yonic imagery in a synchronized swimming routine hilarious may not be for everyone. Finding the invitro fertilization process mimicked with an archery scene & frying eggs not only visually beautiful, but so funny is also not everyone's cup of tea.
4) Many complained that the science-y stuff was just not possible. In the 1st eps we see Lee Min Ho (at 35ish) as a high schooler. You know at that point this drama doesn't care about being realistic.
