Richard Mischook 🇨🇦@jccalhoun @atpfm I think it’s supposed to be ‘one true time zone’. This presumably is an inter-American battle of the time zones. I think for those of us in other parts of the world, it’s another expression of a certain hubris (conscious or unconscious) that our American friends have been socialised into. Or I may have it all wrong.

It's all supposed to be funny. I know this is startling to hear, but Americans don't just go around [seriously] declaring how much better we are than the rest of the world 24/7.
