There's one thing about the article that is a bit odd, however: it seems to suggest that an 80+ year old person has a green card, and green cards are typically issued to people with badly needed skills at the request of an employer. But at an age of over 80, someone would most likely be retired. Was there a mistake regarding the type of immigration document?
