Understand, it's not a loss of Hope grabbing you by your intestines. It's the quck vice-twist of disappointment in those who insist on living down to their lowest expectations. Hope ain't gone anywhere. Hope is how you know you're more alive than dead.

The seemingly never ending disappointment... Watching the fall of something you love, of people you empathize with, of seemingly everything you've ever known in this iteration of self... It's the deep, dark, disappointment in the world that seems to seek only corruption in it's original definition (Rot).
Hope is for the future. The right now is disappointment -the realistic awareness of not only what is but what could have been.
