Dredd has anticharisma, thats the whole point of the character. He isnt likeable, he isnt nice, he doesnt do empathy, he is the application of the law as it is written and applied with zero flexibility… which would actually be an improvement in many countries.
I actually like it as a fun campy 90s action movie in the universe but I hate it as a representation of Judge Dredd.
That’s fair. Never really had any attachment to the comic character myself, just enjoyed the 90s blockbuster craziness. Serious, it absolutely is not.
