I put pedal straps on my bike yesterday and today I did my commute like 3-5 minutes faster each way, could this be related to the straps or is it more likely that I had favorable winds both ways today, or is it that I have unreliable data from previous commutes, the world will literally never know
if I was really smart I'd compare the average/top speed between today and the last time I commuted but I'm not really smart and that sounds annoying

ok last time I bike commuted and it got tracked (which might mean last time I bike commuted?) was 6/18, and it appears that it took me 41 minutes and I averaged 11.2mph. (the return trip data is fouled by me walking around the grocery store without shutting my watch off, oops.)

today my commute took 36 minutes and 34 minutes (probably - I forgot to manually start my watch on the way home so it might be missing a couple minutes at the front) and averaged 13 and 13.5mph. so that seems better?

I've got an older commute that I did in 39 minutes/12mph so I'm pretty sure this is just noise
